Commercial Photo and Illustration Usages

David can quote pricing to license any commercial use of photos or uniquely created digital illustrations. Just email him with your ideas.

Basic Licensing Information

Haas Photography Inc. has a minimum license fee per image based on final use. Multiple uses (web or other) always welcome. We quote pricing on an individual use basis.

Examples include magazine use (placement inside, cover shot, or where?) web site use, and any advertising use. We charge standard industry rates for fair use. Unique or special images produced in dangerous environments is also used to calculate our licensing rates.

David doesn’t charge a research fee for small requests, but big requests are subject to a $100.00 research fee, to be refunded upon any image sale. For delivery of CDs, we can ship U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail or FedEx or UPS. Even your own account if you like. International clients who need FedEx or UPS must pay for this service with their own account numbers.

Small comps can be sent via email attachments for initial work up once we receive a signed copy of our standard agreement. Any created illustration is subject to copyright protection, too.

Limited Edition Prints

David can produce any size print for decorating or display. Generally up to 20” X 30” but call or email with any special requests.

Web use of images

Licensing is generally lower than 1024 x 768 but we will allow larger sizes under certain conditions. Contact us for more information. Pricing varies, with a $100/year minimum charge per photo. Due to the cost of producing unique images Haas Photography Inc. charges fair usage fees. None of our images may be used without our express written permission. Theft of copyrighted material is a crime and we will vigilantly pursue all copyright violations of our work.

Foreign Licensing

We tend to be very careful when licensing images for use outside of the U.S. because of payment problems. Foreign payments must be paid in U.S. funds directly deposited into our account via wire transfer before final delivery is made.

Image Format

Digital delivery is what Haas Photography Inc. does. David has a few special images on fine grain slide film, but realistically digital files are where he can help you best.
